Bandits 8u Stay Together for 2011

The 2010 Bandits 8u Tournament Team is going to stick together for the 2011 season.   The team will become a full season travel team competing at the 9U level.   The boys and the families are excited about the wonderful opportunity.

Batavia Bandits Play this Friday Night!

The Batavia Bandits open the North Aurora tourney Friday night.  The team will be facing the Roselle Renegades at 6:00 pm at IMSA field (S).   Good Luck Bandits!

Batavia Bandits Close out the Weekend at the Elmhurst Summer Slam

The Bandits bounced back this afternoon and brought home the 3rd place hardware at the Elmhurst Summer Slam.   The Bandits beat the Lombard Lightning 6-5 to cap off a solid week of baseball.

Bandits endure tough Loss

The Batavia Bandits lost a hearbreaker this afternoon to the Horner Park 8U team.   The Bandits trailed early 2-0 but battled back to take a 3-2 advantage in the top of the 5th.  The Bandits were hitting the ball hard but struggled to score any isurance runs in the top of the 6th inning.   Horner Park lead off the bottom of the sixth with a triple and ended the game by scoring two runs after a couple of more hits.   Final score 4-3.

Bandits Win Nail Biter!

The Batavia Bandits showed a lot of character and determination with a come from behind win this afternoon against the Elmhurst Green All Stars.

The Bandits scored 8 runs in the first two innings but struggled to score again until the bottom of the sixth. Down 9-8, the Bandits tied the game on Griffin Bohr's RBI single. Two batters later, with two outs and the bases loaded, Charlie Grimm recorded a game winning RBI after being hit by a pitch. Talk about taking one for the team.

The Bandits' win advances them to semi-final round Sunday at 11:00 am.

Bandits win Game 3

The Bandits won this morning 6-3 against the Elmhurst Orange Youth All Stars. The Bandits have earned the number 3 seed for bracket play this afternoon. Game time 4:00 pm.

Bandits Win Game 2!

Batavia hangs on to win their second game of pool play at the Elmhurst Summer Slam. The Bandits jumped out to a 7-1 lead after the first two innings of play. The offense slowed down after the second, but solid pitching and good defense allowed the Bandits to record their seventh straight win with a 7-3 final.
The Bandits play again Saturday at 9:00 am.

Bandits Defeat Lisle in Game 1 of Elmhurst Summer Slam

The Bandits kept their winning streak alive today with a 14-2 win over the Lisle-Lambardo All Stars. The Bandits only only needed 4 innings to record a W. The team hopes to keep their winning streak alive when they face the Bloomingdale All Stars tomorrow night at 6:00pm. Box Score

2010 CDBL Mid Summer Classic Champion Batavia Bandits

The Bandits Defeated the CDBL All Stars 10-9 to win the 2010 Mid Summer Classic. Let the 4th of July fireworks begin. Great Job Bandits!

Bandits win 13-3 to move into Championsip Round.

The Bandits beat the Sycamore Gold All Stars this morning at the Plato Center. Ryan Ingold ignited the Bandits with a first inning Grand Slam. The Bandits never looked back and won with a 13-3 final.

Bandits record third straight win.

The Bandits faced off with the Sycamore Black All Stars this morning. The Bandits recorded their third straight victory with a 24-1 win.

Batavia Bandits win game 2 at CDBL

The Bandits won their second game today in the CDBL Mid-Summer Classic. The Bandits put 21 runs on the board against the Genoa-Kingston All Stars for a 21-7 final.

Batavia wins CDBL Opener

The Bandits beat the Algonquin All Stars today 18-7 in the tournament opener.
